ABOUT SEAN'S
Sean was born and raised in Yorkshire and commenced his chef's apprenticeship at the Pennine Hilton, Ainley Top in Leeds. He worked without payment for two nights a week until he was 16. Sean's career began to take shape during his tenure at the Princes Grill on the QE2, the world's most luxurious cruise ship. It was there that he demonstrated his passion and skill as a chef and restaurateur, allowing his patrons to order outside of his menu, according to their individual tastes on the day.
Sean came to Australia for a working holiday in 1988 and fell in love with our local produce and burgeoning food scene. In 1995, after various sous chef roles, Sean was appointed to Head Chef at Star City's Astral.
Sean's Kitchen is his latest and biggest venture and showcases his appreciation and understanding of worldly cuisine, and his passion for real food and great service.
